19th Mediterranean Folklore Dance, Choir and Traditional Band Festival
Larnaka Cyprus 10th – 15th September 2026
The Nicosia Cultural Heritage Association, in collaboration with the Larnaca Municipality and the Tamasos Community Service Complex, is organizing the 19th Mediterranean Folk Dance, Choir and Traditional Band Festival, which will be held in Larnaca and Nicosia from 10 to 15 September 2026.
The festival will attract groups from Cyprus and other countries around the world. Our festival was awarded the EFFE Award in 2019 as one of the best (top 10) folklore festivals in Europe.
This event is an important cultural platform that promotes cultural exchange and deepens relations between peoples. It is the result of the love and enthusiasm of people who value traditional dance and heritage. The festival offers participants a unique opportunity to meet, network and share music and dance from different nations.
Golden sun and sparkling sea – diving at the Zinovia shipwreck, beach activities and sea parties. Gastronomy and wine – wine tasting, traditional dishes and local delicacies.

About concerts and performances
A total of 5 performances will be held during the festival.
Dance ensembles must present at least 3 different programs (in terms of choreography and costumes).
